Location and area

More is located in Leiden, in the heart of the leading Leiden Bio Science Park – the largest life sciences cluster in the Netherlands. The location offers direct access to Leiden University faculties, including the Faculty of Science, the sports centre and the University Medical Centre (LUMC).

With excellent public transport links and cycling distance to both the city centre and the rest of the Randstad, this is an ideal place for students to live.

Leiden is an established university city with a large international student population. Demand for student accommodation is growing, while the supply of high-quality PBSA is limited. Only 8% of students currently live in private PBSA; new developments are scarce.

Apartments

More consists of four buildings with a total of 703 fully furnished studios averaging 20 m². Each studio has its own bathroom, kitchen and furniture, such as a double bed, dining table, desk and cupboard space.

The studios are largely within the rental limits for students: 200 units are available for young people up to the age of 22 (below the quality discount threshold), and 503 units for students aged 23 or older (below the liberalisation threshold). The campus contracts ensure an annual check on enrolment at an educational institution.

Sustainability

More has been designed with sustainability at its heart: energy label A or A+, 156 solar panels, rainwater drainage via a sustainable system, a roof garden and biodiversity in the courtyard. Tenants can monitor their energy consumption via Hello Energy, and all studios have individual meters. Waste separation, recycling and the use of TULU rental services contribute to an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Living concept

More offers more than just living space. Tenants have access to a private dining room, study areas, a game and cinema room, bicycle parking (786 spaces), a laundrette and medical facilities. The common areas encourage socialising and a sense of community.
